Positions available

 

We have several PhD and postdoctoral positions open, funded by an European Research Council Starting Grant. We look BS/BA, MSc or equivalent degree, or PhD for postdocs, in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Applied/Computational Mathematics. Experience or interest in preferably more than one of the following areas is required:


  1. Bullet Computer simulations (continuum and/or atomistic methods), programming

  2. Bullet Continuum mechanics

  3. Bullet Biophysics

  4. Bullet Small-scale mechanics

  5. Bullet Biomembranes

  6. Bullet Applied mathematics in mechanics


PhD positions are standard 4 year fellowships with benefits. Postdoctoral positions carry travel allocation, and the salary depends on the qualifications.
